Turner Auctions + Appraisals

I was browsing on the Internet and decided to do a search for tin toys.  Naturally there were lots & lots of results, but one of the search results caught my eye. The reason for this was because there was a toy that I had not seem before, and of course, the photography was excellent. When I clicked on the photo "to visit the webpage", I was redirected to Turner Auctions + Appraisals.

It turned out that Turner Auctions + Appraisals is a multi-dimensional  auction house specializing in many different areas going to auction.

Turner Auctions + Appraisals features online auctions in diverse categories, including:

  • Fine Art Prints, Photographs & Works on Paper
  • Fine Art Paintings & Sculpture
  • Decorative Arts
  • Silver
  • Asian Art
  • Ethnic Art
  • Jewelry & Timepieces
  • Luxury Accessories & Vintage Fashion
  • Vintage Posters
  • Automobilia
  • Books & Manuscripts
  • Toys
  • Coins
  • Militaria
  • Special Collections

I naturally, wrote to the company, and a day later I received a reply from Jill Turner, who is person responsible for the PR and Marketing . For those who do not know, PR is an acronym (abbreviation) for Public Relations.Jill suggested that I simply add the "news release" for the upcoming auction, which I did below. Jill's idea was terrific, because it provided information to those visiting the Turner website. about the collectors, and provided a more personal touch to this post.

The  Hellman Collection is featured under "Auctions/Upcoming Auctions."  (Note it is the second auction because they are listed chronologically and we have an Americana sale on October 16.)   "When I visited the Turner Auctions + Appraisals website, I found the Hellman Collection under 'Auctions' on the 'Upcoming Auctions' page, along with two online auction platforms where people can bid on this toy collection. One was LiveAuctioneers and the other website was Invaluable.
When you clicked on either of the 2 companies' names, you are redirected to their respective websites. There, each company provided the service of listing all of the items up for auction of the Hellman Toy Collection.

Below are the direct links to the Liveauctioneers and Invaluable websites:

The above selection of toys was certainly nice, and several of them I had not seem before. I realized only after, that I had selected these toys in rank of order, rather than my "usual" highest price first.
Nevertheless, this was a great choice!

Thanks for dropping by,
and as always,
Have a great part of the day or night,
Wherever you may be.
