2 Fine Customized Tootsietoys

I was on ebay looking for interesting toys, when I came across 2 interesting Tootsietoys. They were customized Tootsietoy Graham trucks that were modified into Tootsietoy Graham Pickup trucks. I asked the ebay seller if he had done the excellent modifications, but his answer was no.
Mr. Pettinelli (the ebay seller) wrote back and said that he had several more versions of these superb wreckers that had been converted by Mr. Randy Lee Rogers of California (USA).

One of my favourite group of old toys are the Tootsietoys.
These small toys were the American version of Dinky Toys (Great Britain).
They were made from various metals that are melted and poured into molds, and were manufactured by the Dowst Manufacturing Company of Chicago Illinois (USA).

Most of these toys were about  3"- 4" (76mm - 101 mm). They sold very well, and
many children at the time collected them.  The prized toys were the sets These ranged from sets of trucks, Graham cars, airplanes, and miniature furniture.

unmodified Tootsietoy Graham Wrecker.

These 2 wreckers that were modified into 2 different versions of
Pickup trucks certainly were made very well. Also,
they are being offered and bought on Mr. Pittenelli's website - amazing.

Thanks for dropping by,
and havea great part of the day or night.
