An Excellent Seller Revisited

I received an e-mail from an anonymous person about a post that I wrote with today's seller. The reader will be sending me information and photos about the real airplanes that the toy is modelled after. The post is from June 1, 2014,and the seller  is Mr. Nathan Forman, who goes by the name of Toyclaus on ebay. What originally attacked me to Nathan's store store was the quality photos that Nathan took, and of course the merchandise. I'm going to be posting again tomorrow about a new toy that I have not seen before - a Lindstrom toy outboard motor, again from Nathan.

As I was looking at Nathan's current and recent past sales, I decided to write a post about a specific toy  and of course Nathan. The toy is an older 1950's Smith-Miller Aerial Ladder Fire Truck # 3 S.M.F.D.  The Smith-Miller toys (old and new) are always in high demand. The original toys were made extremely well and are very rugged and durable. In those times (the 1950's), kids played with these toys. Today however, the new toys made under the new owner of the company are in high demand by collectors who save them rather than have their children play with them. The new toys call even sell for thousands of dollars!

Metric Size: 889 mm x 152 mm x 197 mm

You can see the quality of the materials, the details, and the casting that the original owner of the Smith-Miller toy company placed into his toys. However, what is great is the quality of the photos (large-sized on ebay) that Nathan takes. As well,he takes lots and lots of photos!

An excellent rear view of both the truck and the rear unit with the ladders.

You'll have to go to the link below to see the large-sized and quality photos of Nathan.
However, please go ASAP if you read this post, as ebay only keep the photos online for about 2 months after any sale. However, you'll also be able to see plenty of other toys and fine photography that were recently sold.

This is my second post of the day, but it's well worth the extra effort to write about Nathan.

When you want to cross-reference a toy and see nice photos and a well-written description, then Nathan is one of the people to visit!

Thanks for dropping by,
and as always,
have a great part of the day or night,
wherever you may be.
