SavyBoat Models
I rarely talk about current items, but as I was surfing the Internet last week, I came across a very interesting website that happens to sell very nice handmade boats and ships. The boats and ships are made from select woods and metal fastenings. I sent an e-mail, and got a reply very fast. It was from Mr. Lucas Phan, the owner. He gave me permission to use the  photographs, and to write a post about  them. The actual store is located in Fife, Washington (USA), but you are able to purchase their nice boats and ships via the Internet.

In his own words:

"With over 20 years of experience in crafting the highest quality scale models, we offer over 300 unique, handmade ship models including historic tall ships, classic boats, cruise ships, warships and more. Each of our handmade model ships is crafted by our master artisans over hundreds of hours, using select kiln-dried woods and real metal fittings and goes through a rigorous quality control process before we ship them to you.Your satisfaction is our top priority so along with museum quality models and most affordable prices in the US we also offer 100% satisfaction guarantee so you can rest assured that you are getting the best model for the best price. Our job doesn’t end when your ship model arrives, we are here for you long after your purchase to answer any questions you have on the care and display of your new ship. You can reach us by phone or email by visiting our Contact page and we will get back to you within 24 hours.Thank you for choosing SavyBoat!

What's also interesting is that SavyBoat will custom build a boat for you if you don't find one that you like. These Model boats or ships can be built from 24" - 80"  (610 mm - 2032 mm).

There are plenty of choices in terms of the type of boat or ship and the different categories. Some of the models actually light up. You will not be disappointed if you visit this fine site!

So that's it on this very rainy day.
Thanks for dropping by,
and as always,
have a great part of the day or night,
wherever you may be.
