Of Course, With the Doll House Comes Furniture!

      It's going to snow 15 cm (5.75")

Of Course, With the Dollhouse comes Furniture!

Today's post was a "no-brainer.  This expression means  that I didn't have to think hard to come up with a nice compliment to the doll houses of yesterday's post.  I did a moderately-fast search and found Bertoia Auctions had a great selection of what I was looking for. Then I decided to check out what I could try and match up form the recent catalogue Butler Brothers  April 1927 that I received  a few days ago.

I'm sure you figured out what I did. I decided to try and match up "real" household items from the 1927 Butler Brothers catalog to the nice small doll house furniture from Bertoia Auctions. I didn't quite match them. I'm expecting another old catalog in the next few weeks, so I'll see what that one has to offer.

Thanks for dropping by,
and have a great rest of the day or night.

Neat! Love the just antiqued style.

I sometimes have to check on how much was made with lead, like Tootsie toy etc. If any one knows, share! CM

Hello,

I don't know the percentages of metals in toys, but for sure most toys made before 1950 lead in the paint.
