Can Someone Please Identify This Toy

I received an interesting inquiry from Sharon Pollak.
She had very nice old tin toy with a horse, driver, and an enclosed wagon.
Sharon thought that it might be a James Fallows (James Fallows and Son) toy, from perhaps the mid-late 1880's or later.

I did a search, but couldn't find anything like Sharon's toy. One of the photos that Sharon presented to me was a close-up of a hammered imprint of either the name or the letters
and numbers. However, they are next-to-impossible to see. I did find information that said that Mr. Fallows  punched into his toys the letters "IXL", which were said to be an abbreviation for the words "I Excel".

Sharon most-certainly spent a lot of time to take these nice photos.

So, if there is someone out there who can verify who manufactured this fine tin toy,
please send me an e-mail, so that I can forward the information to Sharon.

Also, if you can also send some screen-captures of written descriptions and photos, that also would help out a lot.

So that's it for today.

Thanks for dropping by,
and as always, have a great part of the morning,
noon, or evening, wherever you may be.
