    I had all kinds of ideas for the introduction of this post. However, I decided that whomever is reading this should just think and feel whatever comes into their mind, without any influence.  

I know many of you will appreciate this post, so I'm speechless oday.

    Hi Troy,

    Thanks for writing.
    As I've been writing about old toys, I've begun to recollect old times from when I was young.
    I always liked old magazines, and the photos and "old" in them.

    I am looking for a Butler Bros catalog page or insert, I believe it is in the period 1927-1929. If advertises two yo-yos the Flores Original and Marx Products, can you point me in the right direction?

    Try ebay. I just added a post (July 1, 2014)

    This person goes by the name Gdawg on ebay, and has great merchandise of old catalogues.
    You can send him an e-mail and see if he has that particular year of catalogue with those particular items.

    I can check later today in my catalogue, but it's a Butler 1926-1927.
